Love Lives Here

In response to the devastating Mosque attacks in Christchurch, CoCA has opened up its main gallery walls for the public to write and create as a way of processing and healing. The response from the public has been overwhelming thus far, and we want to open the space up further for local Ōtautahi artists to contribute.

At present, the contributions have been at standing height and given the vast height of Mair, we wish to invite artists to utilise the entirety of the space available. We will provide ladders and scaffolding for artists to contribute their own creative response to the tragic events of March 15th. We have paint pens for you to use, generously provided by Ironlak in multiple shades of blue, the colour of protection and healing in Islam.

If you are interested in participating please email Jess Adlam at  jess@coca.org.nz to organise a day to come in and add your mark upon the walls.
