The Christchurch Art Show at The Air Force Museum of NZ, Wigram. Last year The Christchurch Art Show was an online show only.  Covid -19 made it impossible for the show to run. This year it is on at The Air Force Museum of NZ, Wigram, April 8 – 11. This will be the 8th Christchurch Art Show and the directors Kate and John Morrison, are excited to have a live show for artists in Christchurch again.  Many are Canterbury based and come to Christchurch from all over Aoteoroa. Artists are at the show with their artworks to talk directly with the public. The show claims that it has “art for everyone” and it does. There is a huge variety of art on site. The show operates on a cash and carry basis, once art is purchased you can take it home to enjoy.  Visitors get to have their say and vote for their favourite artwork – you can vote for one out of ten top works in The Lawson’s Dry Hills People’s Choice Award 2021.  The exclusive opening night begins at 7:30pm the 8th April. Early bird tickets are available from 18 – 31st January. Show days are 9 – 11th April. For information:   www.chchartshow.co.nz
