Supported by Neville and Heather Brown, SCAPE Public Art is at Studio 125 Gallery from May to July at 125 Aikmans Road in Merivale, opening two Christchurch-debut solo exhibitions by British artist, now resident in Auckland, Kevin Osmond and Brisbane-based painter, now in Wanaka, Bridie Gillman, as well as an impressive group show.  Osmond’s interest in natural phenomena; water, topography and galaxies are scrutinised in sculptures and works on paper, while Gillman, described as the ‘promising young artist you should be investing in,’ by Denizen Magazine exhibits two evocative abstract paintings.   Both Kevin Osmond’s Transition and Bridie Gillman’s Before the leaves turn run until 20 July.  Studio125 Gallery is open Tues-Sat 10-5pm
