SCAPE Public Art

Running from Saturday 5 October - Wednesday 20 November, SCAPE Public Arts' six week Season is an all-ages exhibition showcasing the works of those both local and international.

Focusing on materiality and place, artworks will be linked via the SCAPE Public Art Walkway and the theme of Rock (heft, in terms of both physicality and concept). Managing Curator, Emma Bugden has designed the Season as the first of a 3-year programme entitled Rock : Paper : Scissors, which invites each year's artworks to "talk to and across each other".

An assortment of free interactive activities will be on offer in the Season’s public programme. Young aspiring artists will exhibit as part of RE:Activate and there will be plenty of opportunity for children and school groups to learn and discover more about art through our education programme at Turanga and SCAPE Learning Zone.
