Roy Good’s Parallel Universe. The Art and Design of Roy Good.  The survey exhibition Parallel Universe at CoCA Toi Moroki Centre of Contemporary Art is accompanied by a publication by editor, academic and arts commentator, Edward Hanfling.   Celebrating Roy Good’s 50 years as designer and painter, the publication includes his decades of work as a designer for New Zealand televisions from the 1960s – 2000s and his geometric, minimalist paintings from the same period to the present day.  Good’s designs had a high profile says Hanfling. “As a designer, he was an instrumental figure in the early days of New Zealand television, creating graphics and sets for a medium with the widest possible audience.”  Parallel Universe is well illustrated and also features a contributing essay by Andrew Paul Wood.
